Boodha Bar is a retro-funk lounge that aims to soothe one’s weary soul. Kick back and relax on a sofa with a martini in hand after a hard day at the office. The lounge offers a friendly atmosphere with live music during the week, and on the weekends they pump up the energy creating a more club-like atmosphere with a mature crowd.

Fun Nights
Boodha Bar has a variety of fresh events happening all the time, and fun is always on the to-do list here. It varies day to day and Tuesday and Wednesday are often reserved for private or special events. On Mondays sometimes they will have the top female DJ in Montreal spin. Soulvation hits the stage on Fridays, and Saturdays are all about partying.

In-House Martinis
Try something off of Boodha Bar’s popular and inexpensive martini list, which includes favourites such as the “Lava” and the ever-delicious chocolate martini. Not a martini person? The bar also offers champagne cocktails, and they have an impressive scotch and vodka list.

Special Events
Other bands are occasionally brought in for special events and may feature music styles that include reggae, classic rock, live funk and Motown, R&B, and house. Boodha Bar also has space available for rental and often hosts corporate events and fundraisers. As an Ile Sans Fil hotspot, the bar even has free wireless, so bring that laptop along if you can’t bear to be disconnected.
