Fresh Market Cuisine
At La Salle À Manger, the emphasis is placed on fresh market cuisine – quite fresh. The restaurant’s many walls, for example, are adorned with large blackboard menus and are fronting a huge wine cellar and a butcher-style cold room with hanging meats on display. Open since September 2008, La Salle À Manger buys its products locally, keeps their butcher in house, bakes fresh homemade bread daily and sources their ingredients from local farmers.

Individual Or Group Dining
The menu at La Salle À Manger is influenced by the rich tastes of Quebecois and French cuisine. It includes a range of courses that can be catered to individual tastes and the number of people in the group. Popular single choices include the house cold cuts, served with pickles and grilled bread, and the pulled pork sandwich on a steamed bun with shiitake and romaine. There are three vegetarian options, each unique and healthy, like the carrot and mushroom bouillon with shiitake won tons. As a group of two to four, the “jeune canard sur os” (duck) with couscous or the “royale de lapin au fois gras” (rabbit) with ravioli are both recommended.

Bright, Casual Dining Ambiance
The décor is a blend of lacquer-finished wood tables, black and white tile floors, and a large mirrored bar. Tables with benches are available for groups, while couples are accommodated at cozy window-side seats. With over 50 bottles of wine to choose from, the wine list at La Salle À Manger will become the ideal complement to your dinner.
